“Summertime at Uncle Elio’s House”

My finished piece “Summertime at Uncle Elio’s House” is in a way a small personal memorial to my uncle. He and I spent close to 30 years on and off working together. First in his auto body shop and then his eyeglass business. He was extremely influential in those years, and my work ethic is mostly based on him. I owe him a lot and I’m thankful that the Lord allowed me to have such a person in my life. But unfortunately having witnessed the change that took place in my life once I entered the kingdom of God, he made very little effort to acquire the Salvation that the Lord had for him. A very giving man always ready to give what was needed yet he died lost. 😞. Working on this piece was at times a bit heartbreaking because I know that he is not in a place of rest.

The way I’m feeling about this painting at this moment keeps me from uploading it to the galleries that represent me. I don’t think I could ever part from it. So the short answer will always be Not For Sale.
